Explore Bentonville

Bentonville is a special place—one of those towns that surprises you with just how much it has to offer, especially if you love being outside. Tucked into the Ozarks of Northwest Arkansas, it’s become a bit of a hidden gem for mountain biking, hiking, and laid-back adventure. And once you’re here, it’s easy to see why.
We’ll spend time at Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, where we will hike The Rise to soak up the peace and quiet. Just a couple of miles away, Slaughter Pen winds right through the trees and connects directly to downtown. It’s built with riders of all levels in mind—with features you can build confidence on, or just enjoy the ride. One of the best parts? You don’t need to be an expert. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to sharpen your skills, there’s something here for you.
When we’re not on the trails, there’s Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, where world-class exhibits blend right into the surrounding forest. You can walk through world-class art exhibits, then step outside and find yourself on a quiet trail again. Everything here is connected, literally—thanks to a network of paved paths that link the museums, cafes, and trailheads across town.

What makes Bentonville truly stand out isn’t just the trails—it’s the way the whole community supports this outdoor lifestyle. The town, the trail builders, even the local families all invest in making the outdoors feel accessible, welcoming, and fun. And with mild weather most of the year, there’s always time for one more ride, one more hike, or one more paddle.
It’s a place to reconnect with nature, try new things, and return home feeling more grounded, more confident, and more yourself.
